Privacy Policy
Front Foot Prep (“we”, “us”) is an interview-preparation service operated from Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we honour equivalent access and deletion rights for customers in other jurisdictions (including the GDPR and CCPA).
What we collect
- Account & contact details — your name and email address, provided when you purchase a dossier.
- The inputs you send us — to prepare your dossier you give us details of the role and organisation, your CV or LinkedIn profile, the interview date and format, and optionally the panel and anything you’re concerned about. Some of this is sensitive (your work history and current employer), and we treat it accordingly.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation and the name/email you entered at checkout.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics on our marketing pages. Your private dossier pages carry no analytics and are excluded from search indexing.
How we use it
We use your information solely to research, prepare, and deliver your dossier, to give you secure access to it, to communicate with you about your order, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Who processes it
We use a small set of trusted service providers, each only for the purpose listed:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — hosting of this website and our application.
- Upstash — access-control state for your dossier link (stored in Sydney, Australia). This holds no dossier content.
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails, such as your intake checklist and your dossier link.
- Google Workspace — our support inbox (hello@frontfootprep.com).
Some providers process data outside Australia. We only use providers who offer appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
How we secure it
Your dossier is a private page reachable only through a single-use style magic link sent to your email — there are no passwords to steal. Dossier content is served only after that link is verified, is never cached or indexed, and is not exposed to analytics or third parties. Access can be revoked immediately on request or refund.
How long we keep it
- Your dossier stays available to you for 12 months after delivery, after which access is closed.
- Your raw inputs (CV, job ad, correspondence) are deleted 90 days after delivery — or 30 days after a refund.
- On request, we will delete your personal information and anonymise your record within 7 days (see below).
- Limited records required for tax, accounting, or legal reasons are kept only as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to send you a fresh copy of your dossier link, at any time. Email hello@frontfootprep.com and we’ll action it — deletion requests within 7 days. If you’re in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be communicated to active customers.
